In alignment with our mission to disseminate and promote the art, science, and philosophy of yoga according to the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar, IYANW offers grants to member students and teachers. Funded primarily through membership dues, grants are a community resource. The board expanded the grants program in summer 2022, in response to member feedback regarding the difficulties of teaching and studying in the era of COVID-19, and in solidarity with movements to counter institutional racism.
